Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Phillips in London held the auction Music, which included the work RCA Victor Studio One, July 2 by Alfred Wertheimer. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,735.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Wertheimer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elvis Presley. Twenty One Studies, 1956 in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,377.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2009 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Music durch, in der auch die Arbeit RCA Victor Studio One, July 2 von Alfred Wertheimer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.735,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Wertheimer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elvis Presley. Twenty One Studies, 1956 im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 11.377,10).
