The work The Kiss, Elvis and date, 1956 by Alfred Wertheimer was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2019. The result of EUR 2,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Wertheimer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elvis Presley. Twenty One Studies, 1956 in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,377.10).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit The Kiss, Elvis and date, 1956 von Alfred Wertheimer kam im Juni 2019 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Wertheimer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elvis Presley. Twenty One Studies, 1956 im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 11.377,10).
