Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le remorqueur by Alfred Reth was sold in the Impressionist/Modern auction at Christies in London in June 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,793.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Reth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 43,163.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le remorqueur von Alfred Reth wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Impressionist/Modern bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.793,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Reth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.163,00.
