Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,851.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Alfred Montague have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2003 the work A blustery day in the estuary was auctioned for GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,397.54).

Die Arbeit Rotterdam von Alfred Montague kam im Juli 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.851,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00.
