The work No. 66 by Alfred Leslie was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. It achieved a price of USD 225,000.00 (€ 189,107.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alfred Leslie; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Diana sold at auction in April last year with the realized price of EUR 264,600.00.

Die Arbeit No. 66 von Alfred Leslie kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 189.107,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alfred Leslie; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Diana im April letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 264.600,00.
