Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alfred Leslie achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in March last year. In the Post-War, Contemporary and Latin American Art Online auction, the work without title sold for USD 16,562.50 (€ 14,930.59) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Leslie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diana in April last year with an auction result of EUR 264,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfred Leslie erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War, Contemporary and Latin American Art Online wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 16.562,50 (€ 14.930,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Leslie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diana im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 264.600,00.
