Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gothic by Alfred Jensen was sold in the 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session auction at Phillips in New York in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 25,200.00 (€ 20,605.07). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Jensen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heaven; Per I and II in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 477,750.00 (€ 352,973.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Gothic von Alfred Jensen wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 25.200,00 (€ 20.605,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Jensen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Heaven; Per I and II im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 477.750,00 (€ 352.973,77).
