The work Lochernhead, Wild Duck Shooting by Alfred de Bréanski was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2020. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,013.27) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred de Bréanski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lochnagar in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,785.49).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Lochernhead, Wild Duck Shooting von Alfred de Bréanski kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.013,27) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred de Bréanski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lochnagar im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.785,49).
