Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Evening Glow, Luss by Alfred de Bréanski was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 9,437.50 (€ 10,479.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Alfred de Bréanski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lochnagar in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,785.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Evening Glow, Luss von Alfred de Bréanski kam im Oktober 2020 bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.437,50 (€ 10.479,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred de Bréanski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lochnagar im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.785,49).
