Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Bonhams in Edinburgh held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work At sunset, Buttermere by Alfred de Bréanski. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,187.50 (€ 9,091.52). Admittedly, works by Alfred de Bréanski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lochnagar in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,785.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in Edinburgh die Auktion The Scottish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit At sunset, Buttermere von Alfred de Bréanski zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.187,50 (€ 9.091,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred de Bréanski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lochnagar im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.785,49).
