Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Highland cattle by a loch by Alfred de Bréanski was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 2,560.00 (€ 2,966.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred de Bréanski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lochnagar in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,785.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Highland cattle by a loch von Alfred de Bréanski wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.560,00 (€ 2.966,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred de Bréanski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lochnagar im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.785,49).
