It achieved a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,548.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by Alfred de Bréanski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lochnagar in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,785.49).

Die Arbeit Church Pool at Betws-y-Coed von Alfred de Bréanski kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.548,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred de Bréanski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lochnagar im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.785,49).
