Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2018 Christies in New York held the auction on paper | online, which included this untitled work by Alexis Rockman. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,637.99). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexis Rockman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hot House in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,000.00 (€ 34,465.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion on paper | online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alexis Rockman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.637,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexis Rockman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hot House im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 34.465,58).
