Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Portail Aux Cyprès by Alexis Gritchenko for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,517.14). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexis Gritchenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Open Window, Menton in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 85,006.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Portail Aux Cyprès von Alexis Gritchenko für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.517,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexis Gritchenko erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Open Window, Menton im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 85.006,25).
