In February 2014 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist/Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics, which included the work Fleurs by Alexis Gritchenko. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,341.03), 72% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexis Gritchenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Open Window, Menton in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 85,006.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist/Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fleurs von Alexis Gritchenko zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.341,03) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexis Gritchenko erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Open Window, Menton im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 85.006,25).
