It achieved a price of DKK 68,000.00 (€ 9,125.46), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Admittedly, works by Alexis Gritchenko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Open Window, Menton in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 85,006.25).

Die Arbeit “Mistral à Toulon” von Alexis Gritchenko kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 68.000,00 (€ 9.125,46) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexis Gritchenko auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Open Window, Menton im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 85.006,25).
