Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alexis Gritchenko achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2009. In the Russian Paintings Day Sale auction, the work Still Life sold for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,740.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexis Gritchenko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Open Window, Menton in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 85,006.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alexis Gritchenko erzielte im Dezember 2009 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Paintings Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Still Life für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.740,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexis Gritchenko auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Open Window, Menton im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 85.006,25).
