Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn landscape by Alexis Gritchenko was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,133.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexis Gritchenko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Open Window, Menton in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 85,006.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Autumn landscape von Alexis Gritchenko wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.133,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexis Gritchenko auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Open Window, Menton im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 85.006,25).
