Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View Of St. Basil'S Cathedral And The Kremlin by Aleksandr Gerasimov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2012. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 27,717.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aleksandr Gerasimov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Roses in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 361,250.00 (€ 450,101.61).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 27.717,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden.
