Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Aleksandr Gerasimov could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Paintings auction, the work The Road To Tambov changed hands for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,970.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aleksandr Gerasimov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Roses in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 361,250.00 (€ 450,101.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Aleksandr Gerasimov konnte im November 2011 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Paintings wechselte die Arbeit The Road To Tambov für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.970,21) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aleksandr Gerasimov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Roses im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 361.250,00 (€ 450.101,61).
