Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Noon, Summer Rain by Aleksandr Gerasimov for GBP 194,500.00 (€ 227,016.33). This price was achieved in the auction Important Russian Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Aleksandr Gerasimov have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2012 by the work Still Life With Roses at GBP 361,250.00 (€ 450,101.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Noon, Summer Rain von Aleksandr Gerasimov für GBP 194.500,00 (€ 227.016,33) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Russian Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Aleksandr Gerasimov wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2012 die Arbeit Still Life With Roses mit GBP 361.250,00 (€ 450.101,61).
