Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled From For Meyer Schapiro by Alexander Liberman was sold in the Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash: Featuring Artists of the South of France auction at Bonhams in New York in August 2021. The price achieved of USD 637.50 (€ 540.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Liberman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Solstice Vii in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,390.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled From For Meyer Schapiro von Alexander Liberman wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash: Featuring Artists of the South of France bei Bonhams in New York versteigert.
