Sold at the lower estimate price
In December 2015 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Malevich Marlboro by Alexander Kosolapov. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,579.52) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Kosolapov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work McLenin's in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 73,080.00 (€ 85,802.80).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2015 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Malevich Marlboro von Alexander Kosolapov zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.579,52) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Kosolapov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit McLenin's im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.080,00 (€ 85.802,80).
