Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Crash of Capitalism is Inevitable by Alexander Kosolapov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,190.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Kosolapov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work McLenin's, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 73,080.00 (€ 85,802.80).

Die Arbeit The Crash of Capitalism is Inevitable von Alexander Kosolapov kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.190,38) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Kosolapov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit McLenin's beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 73.080,00 (€ 85.802,80) versteigert wurde.
