This artwork by Alexander Kosolapov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2021. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work McLenin's sold for GBP 73,080.00 (€ 85,802.80) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. This high result makes McLenin's the most expensive artwork by Alexander Kosolapov that we have observed at auctions so far.
