Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Flags (Perestroika) by Alexander Kosolapov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,364.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Kosolapov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work McLenin's, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 73,080.00 (€ 85,802.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Flags (Perestroika) von Alexander Kosolapov wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.364,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Kosolapov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit McLenin's beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 73.080,00 (€ 85.802,80) versteigert wurde.
