Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Crucifix by Alexander Kharitonov for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,825.63). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Kharitonov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Faith From The Sorceress Series, 1965 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 145,000.00 (€ 93,139.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Crucifix von Alexander Kharitonov für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.825,63) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Kharitonov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Faith From The Sorceress Series, 1965 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 145.000,00 (€ 93.139,77).
