Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Art Day Sale, which included the work Evening by Alexander Kharitonov. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,281.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Kharitonov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Faith From The Sorceress Series, 1965 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 145,000.00 (€ 93,139.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Evening von Alexander Kharitonov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.281,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Kharitonov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Faith From The Sorceress Series, 1965 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 145.000,00 (€ 93.139,77).
