Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Field by Alexander Kharitonov was sold in the Russian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,281.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Kharitonov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Faith From The Sorceress Series, 1965 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 145,000.00 (€ 93,139.77).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.281,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
