The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,289.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Kharitonov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Faith From The Sorceress Series, 1965 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 145,000.00 (€ 93,139.77).
