In August 2021 Grisebach held the auction Online Only 2021/2022 - Third Floor Online Only 23.7.-8.8.21, which included the work „Chiemsee II“. by Alexander Kanoldt. The result of EUR 1,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Kanoldt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stillleben mit Büchern und Krügen. in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 187,500.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im August 2021 führte Grisebach die Auktion Online Only 2021/2022 - Third Floor Online Only 23.7.-8.8.21 durch, in der auch die Arbeit „Chiemsee II“. von Alexander Kanoldt zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Kanoldt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stillleben mit Büchern und Krügen. im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 187.500,00.
