This work without title by Alex Hubbard was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2019. It achieved a price of USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,901.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Alex Hubbard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dead In Pompeii in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 98,500.00 (€ 116,426.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alex Hubbard wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.901,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alex Hubbard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dead In Pompeii im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.500,00 (€ 116.426,22).
