The work Triangle by Alex Gardner was worth USD 151,200.00 (€ 128,757.56) to a buyer in March 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alex Gardner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Chair #2 sold at auction in June 2021 with the realized price of USD 214,200.00 (€ 180,790.01).
