Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alessandro Magnasco achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in April 2021. In the Furniture and Old Master Paintings auction, the work The raising of the cross sold for EUR 63,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alessandro Magnasco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The singing lesson, which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 168,000.00 (€ 249,518.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alessandro Magnasco erzielte im April 2021 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Furniture and Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit The raising of the cross für EUR 63.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Magnasco mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The singing lesson beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für GBP 168.000,00 (€ 249.518,78) versteigert wurde.
