Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work The Death Of Seneca by Alessandro Magnasco for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,564.18). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro Magnasco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The singing lesson in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 168,000.00 (€ 249,518.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Death Of Seneca von Alessandro Magnasco für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.564,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Magnasco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The singing lesson im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 168.000,00 (€ 249.518,78).
