Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included this untitled work by Alejandro Otero. The price achieved of USD 68,750.00 (€ 65,091.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alejandro Otero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coloritmo 57 in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alejandro Otero zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 65.091,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Otero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Coloritmo 57 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 790.000,00 (€ 747.964,40).
