Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin America: Modern Art, which included the work Tablón No 6 by Alejandro Otero. Here, the upper estimate of USD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 370,000.00 (€ 350,312.44). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alejandro Otero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Coloritmo 57, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin America: Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tablón No 6 von Alejandro Otero zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 370.000,00 (€ 350.312,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Otero mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Coloritmo 57 beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 790.000,00 (€ 747.964,40) versteigert wurde.
