Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hoy En Tv by Alejandro Otero was sold in the Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of USD 43,750.00 (€ 41,359.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alejandro Otero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coloritmo 57 in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hoy En Tv von Alejandro Otero wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 41.359,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Otero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Coloritmo 57 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 790.000,00 (€ 747.964,40).
