Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Souvenir of Venice by Alejandro Obregón was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in November 2014. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alejandro Obregón - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bodegón, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 252,000.00 (€ 234,833.66).
