Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Guerrillero Heroico, Ernesto "Che" Guevara by Alberto Korda was sold in the PhotographsSummer Edition auction at Bonhams in New York in August 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,701.27). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alberto Korda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Guerrillero Heroico (Che Guevara), 5/30/1960, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,473.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Guerrillero Heroico, Ernesto "Che" Guevara von Alberto Korda wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion PhotographsSummer Edition bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.701,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alberto Korda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Guerrillero Heroico (Che Guevara), 5/30/1960 beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.473,89) versteigert wurde.
