A top price for Alberto Korda - as previously expected
In March 2015 Christies in New York held the auction 20/21 Photographs, which included the work Guerrillero Heroico (Che Guevara), 5/30/1960 by Alberto Korda. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,473.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Guerrillero Heroico (Che Guevara), 5/30/1960 is the most expensive artwork by Alberto Korda that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 20/21 Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Guerrillero Heroico (Che Guevara), 5/30/1960 von Alberto Korda zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.473,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Guerrillero Heroico (Che Guevara), 5/30/1960 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alberto Korda, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
