In the PhotographsSummer Edition auction, the work Amigos, Che Guevara And Fidel Castro Fishing sold for USD 4,845.00 (€ 4,105.93) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alberto Korda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Guerrillero Heroico (Che Guevara), 5/30/1960, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,473.89).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alberto Korda erzielte im August 2021 bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PhotographsSummer Edition wurde die Arbeit Amigos, Che Guevara And Fidel Castro Fishing für USD 4.845,00 (€ 4.105,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alberto Korda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Guerrillero Heroico (Che Guevara), 5/30/1960 beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.473,89) versteigert wurde.
