Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Haringvliet, Rotterdam by Albert Neuhuys was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2004. The price achieved of EUR 1,195.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Neuhuys achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Love in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 14,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Haringvliet, Rotterdam von Albert Neuhuys wurde im Februar 2004 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.195,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Neuhuys erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Young Love im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.400,00.
