Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, including works from L'École de Paris, The Jewish Artists, which included the work Five Spanish views by Albert Moulton Foweraker. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,191.52), 19% above the upper estimate. Other works by Albert Moulton Foweraker have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,226.61) in September 2005 for the work Moonlight in a Spanish landscape (illustrated); On the steps at Tarn, France; and Moonlight, Newton St. Cyres, Devon.
