In September 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours, which included the work Moonlight in a Spanish landscape (illustrated); On the steps at Tarn, France; and Moonlight, Newton St. Cyres, Devon by Albert Moulton Foweraker. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,226.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Moonlight in a Spanish landscape (illustrated); On the steps at Tarn, France; and Moonlight, Newton St. Cyres, Devon is the most expensive artwork by Albert Moulton Foweraker that we have observed at auctions so far.
