Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lower Trevorgus, Cornwall by Albert Moulton Foweraker was sold in the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in London in September 2002. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 705.00 (€ 1,120.41). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Moulton Foweraker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moonlight in a Spanish landscape (illustrated); On the steps at Tarn, France; and Moonlight, Newton St. Cyres, Devon, which sold at auction in September 2005 for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,226.61).
