Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study of wolves by Albert Joseph Moore was sold in the The Neil Wilson Collection: A Romantic Vision auction at Christies in London in September 2014. The price achieved of GBP 687.50 (€ 883.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Joseph Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jasmine in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,777,250.00 (€ 2,246,503.59).
