Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study of a church steeple; Study of a gothic arch; and Study of a landscape (two illustrated) by Albert Joseph Moore was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 312.50 (€ 401.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Joseph Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jasmine in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,777,250.00 (€ 2,246,503.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Study of a church steeple; Study of a gothic arch; and Study of a landscape (two illustrated) von Albert Joseph Moore kam im September 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
