A top price for Albert Dubois-Pillet
In June 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Le Puy, La Place Ensoleilée by Albert Dubois-Pillet. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 97,250.00 (€ 114,119.61), 62% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Le Puy, La Place Ensoleilée the most expensive artwork by Albert Dubois-Pillet that we have observed at auctions so far.
