Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bull Horn; Harp Record; and The Potato One by Alan Shields was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2003. Here, the upper estimate of USD 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,015.75 (€ 825.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Shields achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 3, 4, 5, 6 Preponderus Chool in September last year with an auction result of USD 37,800.00 (€ 38,638.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bull Horn; Harp Record; and The Potato One von Alan Shields kam im Juli 2003 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.015,75 (€ 825,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Shields erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 3, 4, 5, 6 Preponderus Chool im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 38.638,45).
